Upper Hunter Country
Take a healthy helping of invigorating fresh air, add an endless supply of country hospitality, package it in the relaxed type of lifestyle that most people can only dream about, and you have the fair dinkum travellers 'destination known as Upper Hunter Country. It's a postcard on which the picture is constantly changing: bronzed sandstone cliffs, primeval forests, wombats and kangaroos, wedge-tail eagles soaring into the clear blue skies, parrots decked out in all the colours of the rainbow, tiny blue wrens playing follow-the-leader among the bushes, arrogant bearded dragons, as old as dinosaurs, sunning themselves on ancient windswept rock formations are just some of the sights you'll see in Upper Hunter Country.
