Our Ageing Markets
Bernard Salt, Partner, KPMG
At Meeting Place 2007 Bernard Salt gave us food for thought when he pointed out that the ageing of our key markets contradicted the accepted view that we will be able to import labour in the future to ease capacity constraints. At Symposium, Bernard digs further into this issue with a long and overdue examination on marketing and infrastructure in an ageing world.

Health Tourism
Matt Hingerty, Managing Director, ATEC
Brett Wilson, Business Development Director, Australian Health Export Industry Council
As our key markets age and those in developing countries encounter pollution issues, health services are becoming a key driver of international travel. Held as a breakout sesson last Symposium, we had a strong feedback suggesting that this be the topic of a plenary. Find out how Australian tourism can benefit from the growth of the "global health economy".
